Ivyland 5K & Fun Run

On Saturday, while dodging rain drops and huge grey clouds we set out for Ivyland. The kids took part in a one mile fun run and David ran a 5k. I believe this is the 3rd year that he has run this particular race but this is the first time for the kids. Although they are seasoned competitors :o) (the Lehigh Valley Fun Run and the SwimInZone Triatholon) this is first time they would run a full mile. All three of them completed their course and we celebrated with the pancake breakfast they offer after the race. The kids did AWESOME, David did great and the rain held off until we were leaving to come home.
Oh- and they all got t-shirts and the kids got cool race towels. They thought that was super cool!
